Bowhead Funding Intelligence
Three tools. One mission: put more Bowhead riders on more trails, and keep Bowhead building the bikes that get them there.
Built by Arcanos AI for Christian Bagg — a concrete first pass, shaped to change with his input.
Why this platform exists
Bowhead already raises funding three ways: formal grant partners like High Fives, fundraising platforms like HelpHopeLive, and corporate philanthropy conversations your leadership team runs by hand. This platform codifies each of those flows, adds non-dilutive funding for the company itself, and gives your team a single place to work from. The goal is to extend what Bowhead already does — not replace it.
Pillar A — Customer Grant Matcher
Bowhead customers and prospective riders — the people looking for funding to buy a Reach, RX, Rogue, Ranger, Era, or Nano.
Riders fill in a short profile — country, mobility needs, age, which Bowhead product they’re after — and get back a ranked, deduplicated list of grants and fundraising channels they actually qualify for. Every match is scored by deterministic rules, then explained in Bowhead’s voice.
What’s live today
- 125 grant programs seeded (14 partner-confirmed + 111 discovered)
- Deterministic matcher with hard filters (geography, mobility needs, age, veteran status)
- AI explanations in Bowhead’s own language (never generic or patronizing framing)
- Draft application narratives on request
Pillar B — Corporate Philanthropy Prospects
Bowhead’s leadership team (Christian Bagg and Kelly Matheson-King) — a replacement for the spreadsheet and LinkedIn research that goes into every donation conversation.
A pipeline of companies whose CSR, in-kind giving, and supplier relationships make them realistic candidates to donate a Bowhead bike to an adaptive sports program or camp. Each prospect is scored by alignment weights and carries a draft outreach pitch written in Bowhead’s voice.
What’s live today
- 5 seed prospects (Bosch, Canadian Tire, Dassault, Suncor, RBC)
- Alignment scoring across 7 weighted signals
- AI-drafted pitches per prospect
- Pipeline filtering + sort
Pillar C — Bowhead Company Grant Finder
Bowhead Corp itself — non-dilutive funding the company can apply to, not grants for its customers.
A pipeline of grants Bowhead can pursue today — R&D, adaptive-tech, Alberta / Calgary regional, manufacturing, export. Each row carries a fit score, deadline, cash-match requirement, and a one-click path to a first-draft application in Bowhead’s voice.
What’s live today
- 76 grants seeded across 14 research cells (Canada, US, UK/EU, Export)
- Top fits: Craig H. Neilsen SCI (98), Alberta Innovates AICE (93), PVA Research (93), NSERC ARD (91)
- $51.7M CAD total open funding across the pipeline
- Fast-draft grant writer (Claude Sonnet 4.6) with DOCX export
This is our first pass. Your input shapes round two.
We deliberately held back a few things: a guided draft wizard for the company grant writer, prospect research beyond the five seed companies, multi-user auth, and crawlers that pull in SEDAR filings and CSR reports automatically. Those are all real, but they’re better built on top of a platform you’ve touched than in front of it.
What we want you to push back on: the Bowhead voice in the drafts, the prospect scoring weights, and whether the matcher’s eligibility logic lines up with the grants you actually know. You have ground truth here; we don’t.
The platform is running — go try all three. Everything you find that’s wrong, we want to hear. We’d rather iterate than ship something neat that doesn’t fit.
everyBODY belongs outside.
